Specialized Experience:
The position requires that all qualified individuals must possess a minimum of one year specialized experience equivalent to the GS-15 or higher, providing overarching leadership and strategic direction for the development and implementation of an organization's health system policies and procedures; conducting data analyses to support strategies and initiatives for maintaining and improving the health of the workforce domestic or abroad, enhancement of health and safety measures; and the continuous quality improvement of an agency's health system. including international experience in the areas of healthcare, staffing and/or aide and development. Government experience is useful, as is willingness to learn relevant applications of Appropriations Law, Federal Acquisition Regulations, and other related government operating requirements.
The position requires that all qualified individuals must demonstrate executive leadership potential and a level of competence and potential sufficient to lead, direct, and evaluate programs and activities related to accomplishing a major program's mission. This experience must demonstrate an applied knowledge of management principles, developments, trends, and generally-accepted practices and techniques utilized in effective program planning and problem solving.

- Peace Corps employees are employed using the Foreign Personnel (FP) pay scale. The FP pay plan does not follow the same structure as the GS pay plan. In the FP pay plan, as the grade-level numbers decrease the level/pay for the position increases. The FP-09 is the lowest entry-level grade and the FP-01 is the highest senior-level grade.
