Duties
- Serves as the primary production manager for all video related content produced for 374th Force Support Squadron. Under the direction of the Marketing Director, the incumbent is responsible for directing, planning, producing, developing, writing, editing, coordinating, and publishing in-house video production.
- Develops and recommends guidelines for timely production of high-quality video presentations in conjunction with marketing team members. May coordinate and work closely with Armed Forces Network (AFN) on commercials or televised advertisements.
- Keeps abreast of all current technologies and trends in design and production.
- Incumbent is expected to understand and maintain a positive social media presence and assess the potential impact of emergent methods of interaction and their value to the FSS.
- Responsible for the creation and storage of all video backups. Works with the Marketing Director to assess future needs and schedules of events that will require coverage.
- Provides photogenic support for the FSS when needed. Completes troubleshooting and preventative maintenance reports on video and audio production equipment; assists in repair and upkeep of studio and production sets and properties.
- Maintains equipment inventory and acts as section equipment custodian if required. Edits footage filmed to create a clear and cohesive video that is engaging, informative, and clear.
- Generates ideas for video projects for the Marketing Department and 374 FSS.
- Plans and performs video post-production tasks, including reviewing footage, making editorial decisions, logging, rough cuts, audio adjustments, color correction, adding photographs, motion pictures, motion graphics animation, audio and music, and final editing using Adobe Creative Suite Software, Final Cut Pro, or similar video editing software.
- Uses computer graphics and special effects for video post-production in accordance with the overall production concepts; compresses/encodes video projects for output; makes video products in various formats; observes brand standards, ensures consistency and relevancy to production; monitors technical quality of end product; and coordinates internal and external duplication services as required.
- Commutes to and from assignment locations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifying Experience:
- Must have experience in the production of professional video based medica to include technical and engineering expertise in the operation and utilization of a wide-variety of cameras and videos editing equipment software.
- Must be proficient with computers, peripheral devices, digital cameras, microphones, and video editing hardware/software.
- Incumbent must demonstrate, via portfolio or other acceptable means, their ability to perform successfully at this grade level.
- Must be able to demonstrate advanced knowledge of computer-aided editing software including Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software and digital compression techniques.
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
- This position is a drug testing designated position; incumbent will be subject to random testing for drug use.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must have an approved means of travel (i.e. POV).
- Must be able to complete a Tier 1 background investigation.
