Summary
The FMWRC mission is to create and maintain "FIRST CHOICE" MWR products and services for America's Army, essential to a ready, self-reliant force.
This position is located with the JBLM Auto Skills program.
Schedules Available:
Regular Part-Time appointments are guaranteed 20 hours but can work up to 39 hours per work week and are eligible for all Army NAF benefits.
Intermittent, or 'Flexible', Appointments can work between 0 to 40 hours per week and are not eligible for benefits.

Duties
- Identifies improperly functioning parts for repair or replacement using on-board computer diagnostic systems and other test equipment and determines whether parts should be cleaned or replaced.
- Installs, adjusts and sets automotive systems in accordance with manufacturer's specifications and tests the completed product.
- Uses knowledge of the various techniques for removing, replacing, cleaning and installing parts and components and skill to make adjustments and settings and in the operation of tools and equipment used.
- Understands diagnostic and test equipment; the make-up and operation of systems and their interrelationship.
- Decides on the methods and techniques to use.

- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
- Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
- Must complete a pre-hire physical.
- Must be able to work a schedule that may include working nights and weekends and possible holidays.
Qualifications
Candidates must:
1. Be able to lift and carry weights up to 40 pounds (occasionally, move object over 50 pounds with assistance or with mechanical devices).
2. Possess a valid motor vehicle operators permit.
3. Have work experience performing the identified duties.
4. Be able to work independently.
