This is a modified TERM position. This position may be converted to permanent career or career-conditional appointment without further competition as long as all requirements are met. To be eligible for conversion, employee must complete at least 2 years of current continuous service under a term appointment in the competitive service AND employee must have a current performance rating under such term appointment of at least fully successful or equivalent.
ADMINISTRATIVE CAREERS WITH AMERICA (ACWA) ASSESSMENT: This series is covered under the ACWA examining program. The position is being recruited at the NH-02/03 grade levels. If you are selected at the NH-02 grade level (GS 5-11 equivalent), you must meet the qualification requirements for the position and complete/pass the ACWA assessment.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. General experience is defined as: Having three years of progressively responsible general work experience with one year of that experience equivalent to the NH-02 grade level, which includes:
1) Assisting with budget execution by ensuring obligations and expenditures are submitted/ processed within regulatory time constraints
AND
2) Assisting in preparing financial reports by gathering documents of receipts, disbursement or budget execution.
This definition of general experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NH-01 (GS-04).

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 36. Then divide your total number of completed undergraduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 120.
