- All new DCIPS employees are required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period.

- Employees and family members requiring medical/dental care in the overseas location are responsible for obtaining/paying for care. Access for these members to military medical/dental treatment facilities is on space-available/reimbursable basis only.
- Position is designated special-sensitive and requires eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), other intelligence-related Special Sensitive information, or involvement in Top Secret Special Access Programs (SAP).

- Drug Testing: This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Demand Reduction Program.
- Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing. Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions presents a clear threat to the mission of the Air Force, national security, and public safety.
- The employee may be required to travel in military and/or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments.
- Employee may be required to undergo CI polygraph examinations in accordance with security regulations involving material handled.
- Knowledge of security procedures and protection of classified information.
- This is a Financial Management Level 2 Certified position IAW the National defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management, Section 1599d.
- Incumbent shall comply with the requirements of this certification program.
Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Administrative and Management Positions.

This is a GG-12 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-12 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Full Performance" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-12 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: knowledge of detailed intensive budgetary methods, practices, procedures, regulations, policies, and processes to formulate, justify, and execute difficult and complex budget work assignments in support of the mission, structure, goals, and work processes for substantive programs of assigned activities/organizations; knowledge of automated data processing software program(s) capabilities and usage to accomplish difficult or complex budget/funding tasks; knowledge of the analytical principle, practices, methods to evaluate program plans and funding which involves substantial resources and requires extensive changes in established concepts and procedures; and knowledge of the Planning, Programming and Budgeting system (PPBS) to effectively plan resource requirements for new systems and equipment acquisitions. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
- Knowledge of detailed intensive budgetary methods, practices, procedures, regulations, policies, and processes to formulate, justify, and execute difficult and complex budget work assignments in support of the mission, structure, goals, and work processes for substantive programs of assigned activities/organizations.
- Knowledge of automated data processing software program(s) capabilities and usage to accomplish difficult or complex budget/funding tasks.
- Knowledge of the analytical principle, practices, and methods to evaluate program plans and funding which involves substantial resources and requires extensive changes in established concepts and procedures.
- Knowledge of budgetary software programs to effectively plan resource requirements for new systems and equipment acquisitions.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to negotiate complex issues and maintain good working relationships essential to express the organization's budgetary position to a variety of audiences.
- Ability to follow security practices for ensuring the safeguarding of classified information.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel Systems (DCIPS) position implemented under Section 504, Title V of Public Law 99-569, Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1987, as codified in Sec 1601, Chap 83 of Title 10 United States Code which sets forth Air Force policies and procedures for DCIPS. This position is in the Excepted Service.
