Specialized Experience (Credit for Specialized Experience on resume must reflect 40 hours/Full-time per week for each period of work): To qualify for the
GS-07, you must have one (1) year of specialized experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the
GS-05 level in the Federal Government or other equivalent pay systems. Specialized experience includes:
- Experience in providing customer service to clients;
- Experience and/or knowledge with providing support to business development activities;
- Experience managing customer interactions in a contact center environment;
- Experience in using databases to support business functions such as to enter and record information; review data for accuracy; create and present reports based on data;
OR
- 1 full year of graduate level education leading to such a degree (finance, business administration, economics, or related fields) that has equipped me to perform the major duties of this position. (Transcripts must be provided if qualifying based on education.)
OR
- A combination of graduate level education and specialized experience that has equipped me to perform the major duties of this position. (Transcripts must be provided if qualifying based on a combination of education and experience.)

A Master's Degree or equivalent graduate degree or two years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Master's degree or equivalent graduate degree (finance, business administration, economics, or related fields) . (Transcripts must be provided if qualifying based on education.)
OR
Combination of Experience and Education: Only graduate education in excess of the amount required for the GS-07 grade level may be used to qualify applicants for positions at the GS-09 grade level. Therefore, only education in excess of one full year of graduate level education may be used to combine education and experience.
