Duties
- Works under the supervision of the Beverage Manager who issues instructions on procedures, methods and deadlines, relies on incumbent to assure work assignments are carried out by other members of the bartending crew.
- Serves as a working leader of three or more employees in accomplishing bartender work.
- Ensures there is enough work to keep everyone in the work crew busy.
- Records sales, makes change or prepares charge slips in accordance with operating procedures.
- Assist customers by discussing beverages available, their content and mixing special drinks according to customer direction.

- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training is required within 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a medical examination and Financial disclosure.
- Incumbent may be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
Qualifications
Candidates must meet state/local age requirements for the serving of alcoholic, at the time of appointment. Be able to lift and carry weights up to 40 pounds. Possess math skills necessary to calculate bills and take inventory. Skill in mixing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages is required. Must have the ability to monitor and direct the work of other bar staff. Work experience as a full service bartender.
