WHO CAN APPLY:
GROUP I - All qualified Male/Female Enlisted Member (E-1/AB- E-6/ TSgt) employed (permanent) in the Virginia Air National Guard Military Technician Program.
GROUP II - All qualified Virginia Air National Guard Male/Female Enlisted Member (E-1/AB- E-6/ TSgt) regardless of employment status (Traditional, Military Technician or AGR). To be considered as a Group II applicant, proof of appointment/enlistment in the Virginia National Guard must be attached if the appointment/enlistment occurred within 60 days prior to, or during, the advertisement period.
GROUP III - Individuals eligible for membership in the Virginia Air National Guard.
Military Grades: Enlisted Member (E-1/AB- E-6/ TSgt)
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Applicant must have experience analyzing and coordinating Base Services functions in support of federal, state, and local missions.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicant must have at least 12 months of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-07 level, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal government. This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector but must demonstrate that it is comparable to the GS grade indicated. This experience must include activities such as:
- Experience ensuring Sustainment Services personnel and equipment mobility requirements are accomplished.
- Experience maintaining thorough understanding of readiness reporting requirements and provides documentation of relevant sustainment services training statistics to applicable monitors for inclusion in associated reports.
- Experience analyzing historical data to develop subsistence requisitions in accordance with Air Force and Air National Guard standards.
- Experience serving as the subject matter expert for the base Mortuary Affairs Program.
