Term Appointment NTE - Position will be filled as a Term Appointment NTE 13 Months. Term appointments may be extended up to a maximum of six years and may be made permanent without further competition at management's discretion.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience is defined as: 1) Apply applicable laws, regulations, procedures, or processes for budget formulation; 2) Manage funds from a wide range of appropriations; 3) Prepare a variety of reports covering the status of funds, expenses, and obligations; and 4) Monitor the execution of budgets utilizing automated financial systems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-02 or GS-11).
