Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the federal service which includes 1) assisting in performing a variety of clerical and administrative budgetary support to include program and budget work in connection with formulation, justification, preparation, review and record keeping, 2) utilizing various automated budget systems such as General Funds Enterprise Budgetary System (GFEBS) to review and input funding data, 3) compiling financial information to execute and monitor budgetary reports and 4) providing functional support on travel system requirements to personnel, such as verifying lines of accounting, assisting with orders and vouchers, and arranging training.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).
Proficiency Required: This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5 minute sample with three or fewer errors.
