Duties
- Through subordinate activity managers, is responsible for overall management and direction of the Directorate, Morale Welfare and Recreation (DMWR) Business Operations Division at a small/medium garrison, to include some of the following activities:
- Clubs, Food, Beverage, Entertainment, Bowling, Golf, Rod and Gun Clubs, Mobile Snack Facilities, Public-Private Venture, contracted business operations, Lodging Operations, NAF Recycling, Value Added Taxes, Hunting and Fishing, and Sport Shooting.
- May coordinate with officials responsible for AAFES and the Army Recreation Machine Program at the garrison level to ensure compliance with primacy topics, minimize unproductive competition, and ensure responsible agency has first right.
- Provides sound leadership and supervision to ensure attainment of the established objectives of the division.
- Directs, develops, and administers plans and procedures; implements, enforces, and ensures compliance with regulations to provide aggressive community business operations which meet the needs and interests of the military community.

- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.

- The ability to obtain (within first six months of employment) and maintain a Food Protection Manager Certification acquired through an American National Standards Institute accredited agency is required.
- Required to file a Confidential Statement of Affiliations and Financial Interest in accordance with requirements of DODD 5500.7 Joint Ethnic Regulation.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Work experience directing/managing one or more DMWR Business Operations activities, or similar civilian operation, for at least one year.
