Duties
- Serves as Chief Business and Recreation Division, and as such plans, manages, directs, coordinates and supervises the functions, programs and activities of the division and performs delegated personnel management responsibilities.
- Functions, programs, and activities include but not limited to Sports and Fitness, ITR, Recreational Rooms, special events and concessionaire activities. Plans, directs, coordinates, and evaluates community wide revenue generating programs.
- Manages the formulation and execution of annual budget, funded through appropriated and non-appropriated funds. Reviews budget estimates submitted by program activities for completeness and applicability to program goals and objectives.
- Performs the full range of delegated supervisory personnel management tasks. Assigns, directs, and oversees the work of employees. Renders professional advice and assistance in technical and administrative problems encountered.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Standard Qualifications:
- Progressively responsible experience performing related duties, which demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the duties of this position.
- Experience in a supervisory capacity is mandatory. Knowledge of the goals, concepts and techniques of a community activities program, including recreation, sports, entertainment and art, and of general management and business operations of various facilities is required.
Highly Qualified:
- Five (5) years' experience in formulating and executing APF and NAF budgets is desirable.
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience in managing a food & beverage operations and/or Recreational programs.
- Financial management skills to include understanding and managing business & recreation budgets, controlling costs and analyzing financial information.
