For GS-7: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the
GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience in analysis on one of the instruments, for example gas chromatographs, gas chromatograph mass spectrophotometers, high pressure liquid chromatographs, graphite furnaces, ion chromatography, or inductively coupled plasmas. Experience preparing standards and meet know if the standards meet performance qualifications.
For GS-9 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the
GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience on at least two instruments, for example gas chromatographs, gas chromatograph mass spectrophotometers, high pressure liquid chromatographs, graphite furnaces, ion chromatography, or inductively coupled plasmas. Experience using the previously mentioned instruments, the individual must be able to train others on the instrumentation. Experience writing and validating standard operating procedures is a requirement.
