Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing all of the following: 1) providing technical and administrative coordination and integration of civil works and military design projects for construction, maintenance, and repair, 2) independently performs major work assignments in connection with the design and modification of projects such as; navigation and coastal works, levees, dams, roads, streets, runways, taxiways, hardstands, airstrips, docks, fill, excavations, water supply, sanitary facilities and remedial action for hazardous and toxic waste (HTRW), and 3) Reviewing technical design, constructability and biddability of Military, Civil Works and HTRW projects. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
