1. Leading a group of workers in the maintenance, repair and installation of ground support equipment, plant equipment and/or utility equipment at the journey level in at least one of the following trades, Electrical Equipment Repairer, Air Condition Mechanic, Industrial Equipment/Production Mechanic, Crane Operator, Powered Support Systems Mechanic/Equipment Mechanic and Compressor Air/Weight handling Systems Mechanic
2. Assigning work in accordance with priorities established by supervisors ensuring employees fully understand and properly carry out assigned tasks. 3. Explaining any unusual steps or processes and reading complicated blueprints, sketches and technical directives ensuring proper procedures, policies and instructions.
4. Communicating and coordinating efforts with various trades and support groups to resolve problems and ensure day-to-day work assignments are accomplished in proper sequence.
5. Providing on-the-job training, safety and work quality to mechanics, workers, helpers, and apprentices keeping costs of labor and material to a minimum. I am considered an expert and work with a high degree of independence.
