In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Experience managing land use planning and encroachment issues related to military installations, ranges, and OPAREAs.
2) Knowledge of RAICUZ, compatible land use policies, and Navy/DoD planning regulations.
3) Skill in analyzing land use plans, environmental documents, and strategic development proposals.
4) Experience coordinating with federal, state, tribal, and local agencies on community planning issues.
5) Ability to develop policy guidance, position papers, and legislative recommendations.
6) Experience representing senior leadership in public forums and stakeholder meetings.
