Conditions of employment
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.

- This position requires travel, working indoors and outdoors, in environments that call for working interactively with children in youth in a variety of active settings.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Child Care Tier 1 background investigation.
Qualifications

A qualified candidate must possess the following:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION CRITERIA
- Successful completion of a 4 year college or university degree with a major course of study/substantial course work which directly relates to a CYS field: early childhood / elementary / secondary / special education, child / youth development, psychology. youth program administration or a closely related field.
OR
- A combination of education and experience--courses equivalent to a major in a field (24 hours) appropriate to the position (see above), plus appropriate experience or additional course work that provided knowledge comparable to that normally acquired through the successful completion of the 4-year course of study described above.
In addition, candidate must possess:
1. At least thirty-six (36) months working with school personnel, students and parents, i.e., School Liaison Officer, CYS Program Manager, educational or academic leader/counselor.
2. Knowledge of and program management experience with military lifestyle and MWR/CYS program functions.
3. The ability to plan and organize work, analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data and recognize solutions.
4. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing in English for both small and large group presentations.
5. Experience in planning/conducting training and technical assistance.

HIGHLY QUALIFIED CRITERIA
1. Experience working in DODEA system with CYS programs (School Age and/or Middle School)
2. Must have experience working with and Briefing Senior Leadership.

PCS Costs

Allowances and Differentials
- This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
- Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
