Specialized Experience:
To qualify, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: (1) Knowledge in the ten Medical Functions to include Medical Command and Control, Treatment, Hospitalization, Medical Evacuation, Dental Services, Operational Public Health, Combat and Operational Stress Control, Veterinary Services, Medical Logistics, Medical Laboratory Services; (2) Knowledge in managing, coordinating, and providing oversight on Current Ops (CUOPS) and Future Ops (FUOPS) battle rhythm and mission requirements; (3) Knowledge in preparing, writing, submitting recurring and one-of-a-kind operation reports; AND (4) Knowledge in mission analysis and preparing briefings for senior leaders and stakeholders regarding capability development solutions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service DB-02 (GS-11 equivalent).
