Minimum Qualifications:
A high school diploma/GED and at least six (6) years of clerical and/or administrative experience in a court and/or legal environment, and one (1) year of experience as a supervisor. Attention to detail, time management, and impeccable follow-up skills are required.
Successful completion of the Courts' Management Training Program counts as one year of supervisory experience.
Education Substitution:
An associate's degree and at least four (4) years of clerical and/or administrative experience in court or legal environment and one (1) year as a supervisor. Successful completion of the Court's management training program counts as one year of supervisory experience.
A bachelor's degree and at least two (2) years of clerical and/or administrative experience in a court or legal environment and one (1) year as a supervisor. Successful completion of the Court's management training program counts as one year of supervisory experience.
The preferred candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in legal studies, business administration, public administration, human resources administration, or a closely related field; two (2) or more years of supervisory experience.
Please note that authorization for the release of your adult criminal record revealing any convictions and forfeitures, and any criminal cases currently pending before the courts is required. If you are selected for the position, a criminal history records check will be conducted.
