We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join our Mental Health Service team. This rewarding position offers you the opportunity to positively impact the lives of veterans through mental health therapy within the Behavioral Health Interdisciplinary Program (BHIP). As a team member, you will provide essential psychological services and work collaboratively to enhance care and improve outcomes.
What You'll Do:
- Diagnose and treat mental disorders using individual, family, and group psychotherapy
- Conduct psychological and neuropsychological assessments
- Utilize Evidence Based Treatments in community settings
- Provide psychoeducation and support to patients and their families
- Collaborate with community providers to aid patient recovery
- Supervise trainees and unlicensed psychologists
- Participate in continuous learning and professional development
- Assist in program development and evaluation
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Proficiency in English
- Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited institution
- Completion of an accredited psychology internship
- Licensure to practice psychology at the doctoral level
- Experience in providing psychotherapy and conducting assessments
- Ability to navigate diverse patient needs
- Commitment to evidence-based practice
