Clinical Psychologist - Women's Mental Health

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin

About the Role

Join our dedicated team at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center as a Clinical Psychologist in our Women's Resource Center. This position offers the opportunity to provide vital mental health services to our veterans and contribute to the advancement of women's mental health in our community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver specialized Women's Health assessment and intervention services.
  • Direct our Advanced Fellowship in Women's Mental Health and manage related administrative functions.
  • Supervise psychology postdoctoral fellows and provide psycho-diagnostic services using evidence-based techniques.
  • Offer therapeutic interventions including individual, group, and couples/family psychotherapy.
  • Collaborate with medical staff on patient care, participate in the Psychology Training Program, and contribute to scientific meetings and community events.

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in psychology (APA or CPA accredited).
  • Completion of a professional psychology internship (APA or CPA accredited).
  • Unrestricted license to practice psychology at the doctoral level.
  • Proficiency in applying psychological treatments across diverse patient populations.
  • Experience at the GS-12 level or equivalent.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Telework: Available on an ad-hoc basis with supervisor approval
