Commissary Quality Assurance Specialist

Join our team as a Commissary Quality Assurance Specialist! We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to ensure the highest standards of quality and service in our commissary store operations. As a part of the Defense Commissary Agency, you'll oversee crucial quality assurance inspections and manage various contract surveillance duties at our facility. This role is vital in maintaining efficient and compliant stocking, order-writing, custodial, and receiving services at our commissary.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality assurance inspections to ensure contractor compliance with agency directives.
• Recommend improvements or changes to contractor services when necessary.
• Review and approve contractor work schedules, ensuring timeliness and quality.
• Maintain the store's space allocations and provide contractor guidance on shelf locations.
• Act as a representative for the commissary manager to ensure safety and security during night hours.
• Advise on order-writing and manage shelf-tag assignments.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Must meet minimum age requirement of 18 years.
• Registered with Selective Service, if applicable.
• A background investigation and fingerprinting are required for employment.
• One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-05 level, or comparable experience demonstrating the ability to monitor and evaluate contractor performance.
• Must have the physical ability for long periods of standing and navigating storerooms.
