Job Summary

Join our team as a Commissary Store Worker, where your primary role will be to assist in various departments, such as grocery, produce, and warehouse, maintaining and handling stock of resale items. Tasks include receiving, handling, marking, preparing, displaying, and maintaining these items to ensure a seamless shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a sufficient stock of resale items.
  • Identify spoilage, damage, and outdated merchandise.
  • Receive supplies, equipment, and resale items.
  • Operate a computer system for pricing, weighing, and labeling merchandise.
  • Transport items to shelving and display areas.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Meet the minimum age requirement, generally 18 years or older.
  • Registered with or exempt from Selective Service if male and born after 12-31-1959.
  • Successful verification through E-Verify.
  • Clearance eligibility based on background investigation.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements: walk, stand, lift up to 50 pounds independently.
  • Direct deposit of pay is required.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in the care and handling of grocery items.
  • Experience in stock rotation, inventory management, and customer item location.
  • Knowledge of using computer systems for labeling and pricing.
  • Experience in arranging stock on shelves and displays.

Physical Work Environment
