Job Overview

Lead and manage a vibrant Community Recreation Program that includes a variety of activities and facilities. Oversee parks, picnic areas, outdoor activities, vehicle storage, recreation centers, and more. Your role will involve crafting and executing engaging events and programs to serve diverse community needs.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise a dynamic team of employees and volunteers.
Oversee hiring, training, performance evaluation, and personnel management.
Plan and lead workshops, clinics, and outdoor skills events.
Coordinate special community events, including concerts, festivals, and celebrity appearances.
Develop partnerships with local organizations to enhance program offerings.
Administer planning, execution, and administrative duties, including data management and reporting.
Ensure excellent customer service and maintain adequate stock and activity levels.

Requirements

U.S. Citizenship or Nationality required.
Valid State driver's license.
Successful background check and identity verification.
Registered or exempt from Selective Service (for males born after 12/31/1959).
Participation in Direct Deposit payment program.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Recreation, Marketing, Business, or related field preferred.
Equivalent work experience in recreation management is welcomed.
Strong skills in customer service and activity management.
Experience in planning and leading recreational programs is essential.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and make decisions that benefit the program.
