Summary

About the Position: Serves as a concept Development Analysist for US ARMY SPACE & MSL CMD/ARSTRAT, CENTER OF EXCELLENCE SMDBL, EXPERIMENTS DIVISIONS, VIRGINIA.

Duties

  • Works under the general supervision of the Chief, Concepts Integration Branch, Concepts Development Division, Capability Development and Integration Directorate, Space and Missile Defense Command (SMDC) Capability Development Integration Directorate.
  • Coordinates the work with other CDID elements, other SMDC elements, Army organizations, and other Services when appropriate.
  • Serves as a Army Space and Missile Defense Command (SMDC) concept developer focusing on the Joint and Army doctrine and concepts for Space, Global Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS)Army Missile Defense.

Specialized Experience One-year specialized experience in which includes leading a project to enhance efficiency, priorities, and resources of assigned programs; develop plans, and review projects for compliance with regulations; reviews completed projects for effectiveness; develop problem-solving techniques.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the Federal Service (GS-11/NH-02).
