Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic advice and analysis on congressional matters to agency leadership.
- Develop briefing materials for Congressional communication strategies.
- Research and draft responses to Congressional inquiries and coordinate with other IAF offices.
- Draft Congressional testimony and related documents for senior IAF management.
- Coordinate Congressional Staff delegations and develop briefing materials.
- Monitor legislative activities and provide insights into their impact on IAF programs.
Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish, both oral and written.
- Background in legislative and congressional committee processes is crucial.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Education and Experience:
- For GS-11: Bachelor's or Master's degree with relevant experience, or a combination of both.
- For GS-12/GS-13: Advanced specialized experience in legislative functions or equivalent professional level education.
