Specialized Experience GS-12: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Reviewing contractor submittals, such as shop drawings, samples and data for compliance with contract documents and monitoring and contractor's work performance to ensure compliance with contract documents; AND 2) Assisting in the evaluations of claims and making recommendations to Management; AND 3) Conducting and/or participating in project meetings and coordination meeting; AND 4) Scheduling and supervising required testing and commissioning and monitoring results. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
Specialized Experience GS-13: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Perform senior-level quality assurance and technical oversight on large, complex construction projects to ensure contractor performance meets design intent, contract requirements, safety regulations, and quality standards; AND 2) Conduct detailed inspections, monitor contractor operations, and verify that construction methods, materials, and workmanship meet contractual and regulatory requirements; AND 3) Identify and resolve complex construction issues, evaluate contractor performance, and recommend modifications or corrective actions to maintain project objectives; AND 4) Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders to address technical concerns, clarify requirements, and ensure successful project completion. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
