You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or
volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. To ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/day/year, and indicate number of hours worked per week on your résumé.
For the GS-12, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in Federal contracting. Specialized experience for this position includes:
- Experience with procurement regulations and experience in pre-award/award/post award procurement actions including administration of both simplified acquisitions and large contracts;
AND
- Providing authoritative contracting direction, regulatory guidance, and market intelligence across diverse acquisitions and contract types: AND
- Independently creating, developing, and implementing new training program methods and processes; materials to educate stakeholders;
AND
- Experience mentoring and training contracting personnel.
For the GS-11, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-9 grade level in Federal contracting. Specialized experience for this position includes:
- Experience using procurement regulations in both simplified acquisitions and large contracts;
AND
- Reviewing, evaluating, documenting and maintaining training program materials in compliance with accreditation standards;
AND
- Assisting in the design and preparation of training programs, including curriculum, modules, and reference materials.
OR
Three full academic years of progressively higher-level graduate education or Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.
OR
A combination of education and experience. Only graduate level education in excess of the first 36 semester hours (54 quarter hours) may be combined to be considered for qualifying education.
To qualify on the basis of graduate education, graduate education in one or a combination of the following fields is required: accounting, business, finance law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management.
