Description:
Serve at Headquarters United States Space Force in the Pentagon as the Corporate Processes and Governance Lead for the Office of the Deputy Chief of Space Operations for Operations, HQSF S3/4/7. Reporting to the Director of Staff, you will serve as the organization's principal functional lead for corporate workflow, knowledge management, governance, records-management integration, and business-process improvement. Within Director of Staff and senior-leader guidance, you will independently lead a high-visibility, organization-wide program supporting more than 230 personnel and advise the Director of Staff and senior leaders on the effectiveness, risks, and improvement of internal business operations.
You will establish the strategy, governance framework, performance measures, and operating procedures for the HQSF S3/4/7 ETMS2 workflow and corporate-process portfolio. You will use data and organizational analysis to identify systemic barriers, improve decision and information flow, strengthen accountability, and implement approved process improvements across the headquarters. You will provide functional leadership and coordinate government requirements for a two-person contractor team supporting workflow operations, while focusing your own efforts on program direction, governance, senior-leader engagement, cross-functional integration, and continuous improvement. This position does not exercise formal supervisory authority over military or federal civilian personnel.

Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and extensive, progressively responsible experience in management analysis, business operations, workflow management, knowledge management, governance, or related fields. The candidate will demonstrate expert-level ability to independently lead complex, enterprise-level programs; analyze organizational performance; develop governance and process-improvement strategies; and advise senior leaders on business operations, workflow, and organizational effectiveness.

The candidate will have substantial experience with Enterprise Task Management Software Solution 2 (ETMS2), or comparable enterprise task-management systems, including tasker intake, routing, assignment, suspense management, status reporting, quality control, and executive-level visibility. Experience with Microsoft Teams, Planner, PowerBI, SharePoint, records-management practices, collaboration tools, process mapping, standard operating procedures, governance forums, performance metrics, and continuous process improvement is highly desired.

The successful candidate will be an independent, organized, and proactive professional who can manage competing priorities; analyze organizational problems; develop practical and sustainable solutions; communicate effectively with senior leaders and action officers; and build productive working relationships across a large headquarters organization. The candidate will be able to translate Director of Staff and senior-leader priorities into sustainable organizational processes; lead cross-functional implementation efforts; and exercise sound independent judgment, consistent with established guidance and leadership intent, in resolving complex workflow, governance, and knowledge-management issues.
