Counterintelligence Regional Operations Manager

About the Role

Join the Central Region CI Office as a Counterintelligence Regional Operations Manager. We are looking for a seasoned expert in counterintelligence (CI) to lead and manage CI operations supporting various mission areas. If you have a background in supervising and employing CI strategies to counter threats to national security, this opportunity is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a geographically dispersed team to support the CI Regional Mission Director.
• Coordinate CI support and integration across diverse mission categories including Industrial Security and Cyber Security.
• Evaluate and adapt operational activities and strategies to meet evolving CI goals.
• Mentor and develop CI Special Agents in the Central Region.
• Represent CI leadership in internal and external strategic meetings.

Who We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in directing counterintelligence operations and supervising CI service teams.
• Strong competencies in influence/negotiation, leadership, oral communication, planning, and technical expertise.
• A background equivalent to a GS/GG-13 level in federal service or similar in other sectors.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Meet regulatory requirements including Selective Service registration if applicable.
• Possess or be able to obtain necessary security clearance.
• Available for occasional overtime and regular onsite work.
