Duties

Incumbent may serve as Staff Coordinator within Headquarters elements such as Human Resources Division, Intelligence Division, Diversion Control Division, Operations Division, and Operational Support Division. Incumbent is responsible for drafting revisions to current policy and procedures in Headquarters, formulating program changes, and training Headquarters personnel and others in these matters.

Qualifications

Criminal Investigators at the GS-1811-15 level may apply to the lower grade position(s), and additionally must request a change to lower grade. Criminal investigators at the GS-14 level may apply for lateral reassignment and GS-13 Criminal Investigators who possess a SAPP score and meet the time-in-grade requirement may apply for promotion. All GS-13s and GS-14s who apply for either promotion or lateral consideration to GS-14 positions must submit a standard Accomplishment Record (AR). Promotion applicants must have an AR score prior to applying.

Living and Working Conditions. Domestic Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) and Locality Pay Rates are available at opm.gov under COLA and Locality Pay Rates in Non-foreign Areas. For foreign locations, the information is available at state.gov under Allowances.
Relocation expenses will be paid by the Government.
