Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1. Managing human resources efforts within the organization to recruit and retain efficient work force; AND
2. Planning and executing fiscal year budgets utilizing organizational funding streams to ensure Navy funds fidelity. AND
3. Communicating with senior leadership inside and outside the organization to manage and run the operation; AND
4. Using computer applications such as MS office suite for effective communication within the organization; AND
5. Utilizing public works products and services to meet customer requirements for meeting Navy Mission.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

The current workweek is Sunday through Thursday. Employees hired from continental U.S. will receive Sunday Premium Pay (computed at 25% of basic hourly rate, eight hours per week).
The Office of the Secretary of Defense (Personnel and Readiness) limits the number of Bahrain based DoD personnel accompanied tours. Dependent entry approval from Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Central Command is required for all accompanied tours prior to extending the final job offer and prior to issuing Permanent Change of Station (PCS) orders. Accompanied tours are not guaranteed.
