Applicants must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized Experience: For the CN-53 you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the CN-52 grade level in the Federal service (For qualification purposes, the CN-52 is broadly equivalent to the GS-12). Specialized experience for this position includes:
- Experience administering a data management tool (i.e. data catalog, metadata repository, or other data governance software) involving system or business functionality and maintenance such as Informatica, Collibra, Alation, data.world, Databricks Unity, CKAN, Microsoft Purview, Precisely, or similar product; AND
- Experience communicating complex system requirements to key program managers, data stewards, and other stakeholders, including presenting briefings to management on status, complex issues, and risks; AND
- Experience documenting system requirements, developing work plans and functioning as a liaison with vendor(s), supporting systems testing and supporting implementation processes; AND
- Experience working with federal information management laws, such as the Privacy Act, Paperwork Reduction Act, Freedom of Information Act, Federal Records Act, Title X of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010, and e-Government Act.
In addition to specialized experience, individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.
1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.
3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or
