What Competencies/Knowledge, Skills and Abilities are Required for this Position?

The following Competencies/Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's) are required:

GL-06 and GL-07:

  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Knowledge of radiology.
  • Ability to establish requirements, collect and analyze data, and recommend and incorporate Quality Assurance system improvements.
  • Ability to establish requirements, and to collect and analyze data to effectively manage a radiation safety program.
  • Knowledge of JCAHO standards, federal, state, and local government regulations.
