In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
Applicant must have program management experience and the ability to instruct drivers training principles and practices in a classroom and road setting. Experience must have been sufficiently demanding to demonstrate the ability to perform at this pay band level. In addition, must have progressively responsible experience that required the applicant to acquire and apply a thorough and comprehensive knowledge of the rules, regulations procedures. Knowledge of the rules and procedures of USFJ regulation on driving in Japan is highly desirable. Knowledge of office automation software (MS Windows, MS Office, including Power Point, Word, Access and Excel) is required. Must be able to read, write and speak English. Must possess a valid SOFA driver's license and be able to obtain the required licenses and certifications within 90 days of hire. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Tier 1 background check with child care inquiries to include installation, state and national criminal background checks. This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use.
