Duties
Serves as Duty Manager responsible for the security of 800+ room, full service military hotel and Armed Forces Recreation Center (AFRC). Security is provided on a 24 hour 7 day a week basis. Is responsible for the employee entrance video management system and for internal hotel security. Maintains constant radio contact with management and hotel operator, to ensure immediate contact for resolution of security issues. Assist the Military Police and DoD Police in maintaining security throughout the AFRC property. Provides a full range of security services to guests, patrons and employees. Reviews daily activity and incident report and initiates proper action in accordance with established policies, procedures and regulations. Coordinates with the Executive Committee for the appropriate course of action in response to an anticipated threat or situation.

- Must be able to obtain a Tier 1 background investigation.
- Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays and various hours of the day and week when required.
- CPR, AED, and BLS certifications or have the ability to obtain within 6 months of employment
Qualifications
A qualified candidate must possess the following:
- At least two (2) years of direct work experience in security or law enforcement.
- Proficient in reading, writing and speaking in English and able to understand and follow safety and security plans policies and procedures.
- Experience in operating and maintaining a video security management system and other electronic and automated equipment.
The Hale Koa Hotel will be having an in-person Job Fair on Tuesday, 21 April 2026, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

- Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is not authorized based upon a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government interest.
Allowances and Differentials:
- This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
- Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
