In addition to the Basic Requirements for this GS-13 position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1 Manage assigned projects from cradle to grave. 2 Provides guidance, direction and coordination on matters associated with project scope, requirements and funding. 3 Provide design and technical expertise in Electrical Engineering.

FOR THE GS 12: In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1 Serves as a senior electrical engineer providing design and other technical expertise for NAVFAC Washington, and the commands served. Serves as expert consultant on electrical engineering aspects to other engineering disciplines on projects that are not predominately electrical. 2 Prepares detailed electrical engineering analysis, calculations and designs, development of plans using Auto Cad, specifications and cost estimates, in support of in-house and Architect/Engineer design bid build and design build projects, for a wide range of projects. Projects may include medium and low voltage power generation, transmission and utilization systems including lighting, grounding, cathodic protection, photovoltaic and wind power system, telecommunications and audiovisual systems and electronic security systems associated with Naval Shore Facilities.
