GS-09:In addition to the Basic Education Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the
GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Resolving routine electrical engineering problems in support of facility maintenance/repair projects; 2) Preparing electrical engineering analysis, calculations, designs, and plans using AutoCAD, specifications, and cost estimates; 3) Preparing preliminary design studies and outlining the design scope of electrical engineering projects.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Researching electrical systems and equipment to support electrical engineering projects; 2) Using computer software (e.g., spreadsheets, databases, and AutoCAD) to assist in electrical engineering analysis, calculations, designs, and the development of plans; 3) Reviewing engineering data (i.e., electrical plans, specifications, cost estimates, etc.) for adequacy.
