This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. The Screen-out Element for this position is the ability to perform the duties of an Electrical Fire Alarm Mechanic WG-2801-11 without more than normal supervision as demonstrated by the following; 1) Install, maintain, repair, modify, test, and troubleshoot a variety of fire protection alarm systems as well as various other electronic alarm systems; 2) Repair, modify, and maintain a variety of commercial alarm systems; and 3) Program, Inspect, and Test control panels and power transfer switches to ensure proper operability and maintenance.
