General Experience: Must possess a validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the occupational series and grade.
ELECTRONIC INTEGRATED SYSTEMS MECHANIC, WG-2610-12: Must have at least 18 months experience performing electronic integrated system work activities on Army National Guard helicopters such as, installing, troubleshooting, repairing, modifying, calibrating, aligning, and maintaining these systems; Experience in isolating unusual malfunctions using technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams, tools and test equipment including automatic test equipment; Experience testing and troubleshooting solid state electronic assemblies and subassemblies such as, circuit cards, modules, rate gyros, electronic control amplifiers, electro-mechanical assemblies, random access memories, programmable read-only memories and various integrated circuits; Experience performing operational checks, inspections, tests, and troubleshooting on electronic integrated systems composed of a number of sensor subsystems; Experience conducting operational checks, inspections, tests and troubleshooting of Line Replaceable Units (LRU); Experience maintaining, modifying, calibrating and inspecting a wide variety of user tests, measurements, and diagnostic equipment; Skilled in completing bench checks, testing, repairs, inspections, modifications, programming, reprogramming, mating, adjusting, alignments, and analyzing of LRU's and shop replaceable units; Experience using a variety of equipment to test and troubleshoot solid state electronic assemblies and subassemblies; Experience certifying the operational integrity of various night vision systems, and electro-optical components; Skilled in recognizing methods to improve equipment performance, technical data, and maintenance procedures by reporting hardware and software malfunctions, initiates material deficiency reports both on equipment and in technical data; Experience providing instructional training to other mechanics in regard to the repair of computer controlled automatic test equipment, line replaceable units and aircraft integrated systems.
