ABILITY TO DO THE WORK OF THE POSITION WITHOUT MORE THAN NORMAL SUPERVISION:
Experience repairing, aligning, and adjusting major integrated electronic components and subsystems of a Towed Array Handling System, and removing and loading the Towed Arrays and Tow Cables. Experience with the applications of digital/analog computers, acoustic frequency transmissions and their effects. Experience reading and comprehending technical, diagnostics, operations and electronic repair manuals; schematic circuit diagrams, formulas, one changes in one subsystem to other integrated systems. Experience with interface and intersystem wiring modules, drawers, and cable designations. Experience diagnosing malfunctions and tracing through numerous units to locate and correct deficiencies. Experience working with Control Work Packages (CWP) and utilizing Quality Assurance (QA) procedures.
