Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1)Assisting with maintaining Air Traffic Control Communication Systems; 2) Assisting with solving electronic equipment and maintenance issues and correcting deficiencies; 3) Assisting with interpreting drawings, plans, and specifications to identify and correct deficiencies, and resolving operational problems and recommending improved procedures; AND 4) Analyzing circuits utilizing schematics, wire diagrams, blueprints, and engineering drawings, and make rough drawings of interconnecting wiring, in conjunction with maintenance and installation of electronic equipment. Incumbent Must have a strong past experience in the maintenance of Air Traffic Control Radar Systems used by the FAA and DOD and demonstrate a thorough knowledge of:
1.) electronic theory and principle
2.) computer theory and operation as it pertains to ATC systems for maintenance programming and diagnostic software
3.)digital techniques
4.) Integrated Chip theory
5.) a working knowledge of mathematic symbology and numbering systems
6.) using appropriate test equipment to determine the cause of malfunctions and take corrective action
7.) Must be able to analyze circuits, prepare detailed electronic schematics and wiring diagrams, and read blueprints and engineering drawings. Must be able to receive and maintain a secret clearance.
Must have valid state drivers license and complete annual CPR certification.
