In addition to the Basic Education Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of qualifying experience at the in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a Professional Engineer. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Developing architectures, installation designs and integration of Information technology systems (including a wide range of ashore network technology & applications and installation requirements & processes, to include Shore Installation Process Handbook M-4720.1. and natural follow ons; 2) Applying shore installation processes (e.g., the Shore Installation Process Handbook) to system design, site surveys, development, acquisition, documentation, scheduling, installations, system cut-over, System Operational Verification and Test (SOVT), and system turnover; and
3) Applying installation tasks (e.g., cabling, conduit, terminations, configuration, loading, patching & similar) to demonstrate or determine viability of concepts & designs, to include novel, experimental or prototype equipment or systems.
4) Collaborating across Gov't/Contractor boundaries & with different Commands to build & foster teams to accomplish overall objectives related to ship & shore modernization & maintenance.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The office of the Secretary of Defense (Personnel and Readiness) limits the number of Bahrain base DoD personnel accompanied tours. Dependent entry approval from Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Central Command is required for all accompanied tours prior to extending the final job offer and prior to issuing Permanent Change of Station (PCS) orders. Accompanied tours are not guaranteed.
Relocation and recruitment incentives up to 25% may be authorized. The current workweek is Sunday through Thursday. Employees hired from continental U.S. will receive Sunday Premium Pay (computed at 25% of basic hourly rate, eight hours per week).
