This position has a selective placement factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. The selective placement factor is: Must possess and maintain a Washington State Class "A" Commercial Driver's License (CDL). An out of state Class "A" Commercial Driver's License is acceptable however the incumbent must have it transferred to a Washington State License within 30 days of hire.

This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: 1) Delegating workload to crew and ensuring compliance with solid waste policies and regulations; 2) Acting as a backup driver/operator and material handler; 3) Enforcing rules and regulations on conduct, safety, and housekeeping; and 4) Inspecting work in progress and at completion.
