Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or DT-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) providing technical review and consultation for adequacy of specification, production processes, dimensioning and tolerance, inspection, standardization, and manufacturing cost control techniques;
2) interpreting engineering drawings and planning/developing/executing processes for product creation;
3) working understanding of sheet metal fabrication equipment including shears, rolls and presses, as well as a thorough working understanding and trouble shooting ability in at least three of the following disciplines; pneumatics, mechanical assemblies, electronic systems, fabrication, corrosion control;
4) proficiently join metal components using common industrial thermal processes including Gas Tungsten Metal Arc Welding, Gas Metal Arc Welding, and Flux Cored Arc Welding on both ferrous and non-ferrous alloys.
