Minimum Qualifications for GS-09:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes utilizing an electronic document management system to catalog, file, and organize engineering documents; AND using Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) systems to create and update drawings of equipment and facilities in an industrial setting. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-08).
Minimum Qualifications for GS-10:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes utilizing Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) and 3D modeling to develop detailed models and contract drawings of complex structures or machinery for multiple engineering disciplines. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).
Minimum Qualifications for GS-11:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience developing ADVANCED 3D models, design drawings and detailed layouts in multiple platforms; AND mentoring/training other technicians or engineers in applying CADD and/or Building Information Modeling (BIM) principles. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-10).
