Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the
GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience planning, developing, organizing, administering, evaluating and coordinating environmental operations for a broad range of environmental protection programs for sites;
Experience providing routine and emergency environmental services to support compliance; managing waste and protecting environmental resources at the installation;
Experience evaluating needs and recommending environmental personnel, equipment and facilities needed to accomplish assignments;
Experience implementing environmental processes and developing and submitting recommendations for appropriate changes and support; and
Experience performing environmental inspections on industrial operations (e.g. worksites, storage areas, facilities, etc.), ensuring equipment is functioning properly, collecting samples, and analyzing and interpreting laboratory reports to determine the presence of hazardous environmental conditions and the degree of noncompliance with regulatory guidance.
