- Ability to evaluate accuracy of data, applicability of modeling approaches and reliability of the results
- Ability to explain analytical results to groups of people, including non-technical audience
- Research skills necessary for decision making and effective contribution on public policy issues
- Some knowledge of microeconomic concepts and costing
- Ability to learn about the Postal Service market, products and operations

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
