GS-7 level if you fulfill the following qualification:
-GS-7 Specialized Experience: One (1) year of specialized experience that equipped you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of this position. To be creditable, this experience must have been equivalent to at least the
GS-5 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience includes: Providing administrative and technical support for the management of various programs; collecting, compiling, and tracking data and information; maintaining databases and utilizing various software programs. Coordinate training with managers/supervisors and staff. Maintain security of education environment and equipment. Record simulation activities in Training Management Systems. Preparing for education, training and pre-simulation control room and equipment. Perform decontamination according to policies/procedures.
OR
EDUCATION SUBSTITUTION AND EXPERIENCE:
Possess the successfully completed 1 full of graduated level education or superior academic achievement that provided the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of a Education Technician position. NOTE: If you select this option, you must submit a copy of your transcript (unofficial or official) with your application that include , student name, total number of credits completed, date degree conferred. Education cannot be credited without documentation.
OR
COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPEREINCE:
Possess the equivalent combinations of successfully completed graduate-level education (beyond the first year) and specialized experience, as described above, which meet the total experience requirements for this grade level. The education portion must have provided the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of a Education Technician(as described above). Copies of transcripts must be submitted with your application materials, that include student name, total number of credits completed, date degree conferred. Education cannot be credited without documentation.
You may qualify at the
GS-9 level if you fulfill the following qualification:
-GS-9 Specialized Experience: One (1) year of specialized experience that equipped you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of this position. To be creditable, this experience must have been equivalent to at least the
GS-7 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience includes: Provide administrative and technical support for the management of various programs; collecting, compiling, and tracking data and information; maintaining databases and utilizing various software programs. Coordinate training with managers/supervisors and staff. Maintain security of education environment and equipment. Record simulation activities in Training Management Systems. Facilitate the coordination and planning for the Services' training programs, set up training and pre-simulation control room and equipment. Perform decontamination according to policies/procedures.

EDUCATION SUBSTITUTION AND EXPERIENCE:
Possess the successfully completed two (2) years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree that provided the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of a Education Technician position. Education cannot be credited without documentation.

Physical Requirements: The work is requires physical effort. There will be walking, standing, bending, carrying of items such as document transport, task trainers, manikins, boxes of training equipment, movement of the equipment such as beds, over-bed tables, chairs and moving documents and equipment to Outpatient Clinics. The work will require walking and lifting - as indicated below: Ability to drive a personal vehical or government car the employee sits comfortably to perform the work. However, there may be some walking, standing, bending, carrying of light items, such as papers, books, and mail. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
