Join the Bonneville Power Administration as an Electrical Project Engineer, a pivotal role where you will provide leadership and expertise in project design and development. Key Responsibilities
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for project design processes.
Act as the main technical liaison for contractors and vendors on design/build projects.
Coordinate design completion to meet safety, performance, and environmental standards.
Work with various departments for comprehensive project planning and development.
Provide ongoing technical support during project construction phases.
Review project outcomes in a post-construction phase for continuous improvement.
Requirements
Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass a background check.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably accredited by ABET.
Professional registration such as Engineer Intern (EI) or Professional Engineer (PE) is advantageous.
At least one year of specialized experience in electrical engineering related to substation project scope and design.
Physical capacity for some fieldwork as required.
Work Environment
You'll primarily work in an office setting, with occasional site visits. The role requires travel to various work sites, ensuring you remain engaged and hands-on with projects.
